In a statement on Wednesday to mark the International Quds Day, which falls on on April 5 this Ramadan, the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that 75 years of relentless violence, terror, and aggression by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people shows that the regime does not adhere to any human, moral, or legal principles.
“Therefore, the only solution to the Palestinian issue is to resist and fight until the destruction of this regime,” the statement emphasized.
“No doubt, the escalation of crimes and aggressions of the Zionist regime at the current stage is due to the internal and external crises that this usurping regime faces, and while revealing the ugly face of that regime to the world, it heralds that the Zionist enemy is on the slide towards destruction and collapse.”
The Army also condemned the Israeli regime’s Monday attack on Iran’s consulate in Syria and invited the Islamic Ummah to attend International Quds Day rallies to express support for the rightful cause of Palestine.
Israel waged its brutal war on besieged Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out an unprecedented operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.
Israel has imposed a complete siege on the densely populated enclave, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
